For couple of days I have seen lots of nightmares. Most of them are about the home's farm works like our heifers, which amount were multiply from 9 to 50, escaped from pasture or our cows were drowning in the cattle house because of some weird deluge. I don't need to be a doctor to know it was all about of the stress but luckily, the stress is now easing. I have done almost all undone school works and my mom said that everything is ok in cowhouse now. Sadly, my roommate told me that I have done biggest undone work all wrong and I have already sent some of it to the teacher. *sigh*
Back to happy things, shall we?
So, now I have finally lovely and beautiful background to this blog and now I'm even writing to here! :D Sister and me got tickets to Desucon and Animecon X to this summer. All thanks to Minna my friends girlfriend who informed about Desucon's tickets. We were very lucky to get them and even luckier to get hostel room to stay in! やった！
My sister have been couple of weeks eager me to make Sherry cosplay from Resident Evil 6 (picture of her is bottom of this text). Honestly to say I really like Sherry. She seems a very sweet and down-to-earth character. And costume looks like very practical so it might not be so hard to do and if I would be able to make that costume well, I could even use some of it for normal living. :)
BUT! I'm scared. I have seen so many great cosplays of her and I haven't really do any completed coslay... I'm not so good at sewing nor acting or anything else. argajpfjap!! I am afraid, ok? Still, for some weird reason I feel that perhaps I could able to make it! As they say, you can always give at least a shot, right?

VastaaPoistaYou've got shoes just like those and the costume would be easier to make.. Though maybe a jacket like that wouldn't be too bad. If you were gonna make it for a summer con(like the post's title states it) the wintery one would be a bit too hot. ;)
Yeah, I will really seriously consider that option too. :) I more like the other Sherry's costume, though. But it will be, like you said, hot in summer. :s aådjaådaj. It would be easier to do but I'm alfaid that no-one will recognise me as Sherry. :s apjapsjdasp now I have a crisis in here :'D
VastaaPoistaWhy not? A blonde wig, those clothes(you can easily get them from any clothing store) and your boots and the most important part of this cosplay: th SCARF! ;D And if you're worrying walk with me when I'm wearing my Jill..
PoistaIf you're interested in making the wintery one then I think I could find patterns for you. It looks a bit like suede to me. Sure you could just buy one. And just take the coat off when it gets too hot and maybe wear the shirt from the other Sherry-costume? The pants are easy to make and with your knitting skills it would be a cake to make those legwarmers or are they thighwarkemrs? But it's totally up to you. If you want to make it, I'll gladly help but I don't want to pressure you to make it.
Yeah. I would like to actually do at least something and not just buy everything from shop. :( Because I really need something to vent some stress. :D
PoistaI also think that it looks like suede. :s so making one would be expensive. :( ahsidaohdo... Eventhough which ever of these two I would make, I have still buy a wig, some make up, contaclenses, scarf and do shoecover.
Thanks, I really need lots of help if I'm doing it. :) Now all I need to do is decide which one... :S
